The 2014 Capital Projects Bond monies were spent in the following way.

North Creek High School: $130 Million

North Creek High School is a new high school located in Bothell; it opened in Fall 2017. The NSD constructed a new high school in the north end of the district to address significant enrollment growth and allow the district to move all ninth graders to the high school buildings.

Woodinville High School Phase III: $17 million

Woodinville High School Phase III includes the modernization of Woodinville High School’s athletic wing and fine arts and technology building that houses technology, art, welding and Special Education programs. The athletic wing remodel better utilizes the space by adding to the existing structure (gymnasium, weight room, locker rooms, training facilities and additional classrooms). The renovation also includes updated flooring, bleachers and the sound system. The new buildings opened in Fall 2016.

Security: $1 million

Monies were spent district-wide on projects that improved security.

Technology: $6.5 million

Monies were spent district-wide on infrastructure upgrades, including network expansion to support Bring Your Own Device technology, Classroom Audio, Interactive Boards, and network & server modernization.

Fields, Tennis Courts, and Track Projects: $1.6 million

Monies were spent for improvement or replacement at Canyon Park MS, Kenmore MS, Skyview MS, Bothell HS, Inglemoor HS, Woodinville HS,

Building Modernization Projects (BMP): $8.8 million

Monies were spent on roofing, heating and flooring systems replacement at ten schools.

Small Works and Code Related Projects: $7 million

Monies were spent a smaller projects, typically under $250K, that improved many NSD buildings.

Bond Financing/Administrative Costs: $5.6 million

Monies were spent to administer the bond sales.
